Our latest Lovely Views update makes everyday ticket management even easier, with new bulk removal options, more flexibility when replying to tickets, and a few other improvements to the way you work.
Clear Followers or CCs in one go
Bulk edit now includes Remove all Followers and Remove all CCs options:
You can clear all Followers or CCs across multiple tickets in a single step, instead of removing people one by one. You can also select all pages of a view to apply the changes to every ticket in that view.
Followers and CCs are handled separately, so removing all Followers will not affect CCs, and removing all CCs will not affect Followers.
Choose your default side viewer comment type
You can now control which comment type is selected when the side viewer comment box opens.
You can choose from:
- Follow Zendesk ticket settings
- Internal note
- Public reply
Choosing Follow Zendesk ticket settings uses Zendesk's Agent comments via web are public by default setting to determine the default comment type.
Admins can set the default under:
Admin > Admin settings > View > Side viewer > Default comment type
Agents can also choose their own preference and override the admin default under:
Admin > Personal preferences > Behavior > Default comment type
Agents can still switch between Public reply and Internal note before sending a comment.
Other improvements
We've also made a few improvements behind the scenes, including simpler setup for Notes and Pins when using Custom Objects, as well as refinements to preview and side viewer.
