Lovely Views 4.4: Your new workspace for Zendesk

Lovely Views 4.4 introduces a redesigned workspace that brings views, searches, bookmarks, and ticket activity together in one place.

This release also introduces Seek, a powerful advanced search tool that lets you build flexible ticket searches and turn them into reusable work queues.

Together, these changes make it easier to navigate Zendesk queues, run complex searches, and work through tickets without constantly switching between screens.

A smarter way to navigate your queues

The new interface brings the main navigation tools together so you can move between queues quickly and stay focused on your work.

You can now switch between:

  • List – browse your views, searches, and folders

  • Home – jump straight to important queues

  • Views – work through ticket lists

  • Seek – run advanced ticket searches

  • Bookmarks – return to tickets you’ve saved

  • Activity – revisit tickets you recently opened

This layout helps you stay oriented even when you have a large number of views.

Meet Seek: advanced ticket search

Lovely Views 4.4 introduces Seek, a powerful search system that goes beyond standard Zendesk views.

Instead of relying only on Zendesk views, you can build searches using conditions such as:

  • fields and tags

  • requesters and organizations

  • groups and brands

  • ticket forms

  • dates and keywords

You can then save these searches and reuse them later. When opened, they behave just like a view, allowing you to work through the results as a ticket queue.

This makes it easier to create queues that match how your team actually works.

The tools you already rely on

The new workspace keeps the Lovely Views features agents already use every day.

You can:

  • have views refresh automatically

  • preview full ticket conversations without opening the ticket

  • see AI-generated summaries directly in the ticket preview
  • bookmark tickets you want to return to later

  • run more bulk actions directly from the ticket list

  • move through tickets without losing your place in the queue

These tools help you understand tickets faster and work through queues more efficiently.

Switching to the latest version

Lovely Views 4.4 introduces a new interface, but you can switch back to the previous version if needed.

  1. Open Lovely Views and click the Menu icon (or Admin (⚙️) icon if you're on the latest version)
  2. Go to Preferences → General
  3. Toggle Latest version ON to switch to the latest version, or OFF to return to the previous version
  4. Click Save
  5. Reload Zendesk to apply the change

This allows you to use the new workspace, while still having the option to return to the previous version. The 3.x version will be sunsetted in the future.
