Jump to the first or last ticket in Zendesk views with Lovely Views

When queues get long, navigation speed matters.

Agents often move through tickets one by one, scrolling or paging repeatedly just to reach the oldest or newest item in a view. That extra movement adds up, especially in high-volume environments.

In standard Zendesk views, navigation between tickets (from an open ticket) is limited. Agents may see a next button in some layouts, but there is no quick way to jump directly to the previous ticket, or the first or last ticket in a queue. Moving through long views usually means paging through results or returning to the ticket list.

Lovely Views introduces simple navigation controls that make moving through Zendesk queues much faster.

Where the navigation controls appear

When you open a ticket from a view, Lovely Views adds navigation controls in the right-hand sidebar of the ticket interface.

From there, agents can quickly move through the ticket list without returning to the view.

Why fast navigation matters

Support queues rarely stay small. Teams regularly need to:

  • Jump straight to the oldest ticket waiting for attention

  • Check the newest tickets entering the queue

  • Review backlog edges during triage

  • Move quickly between priority areas without scrolling through pages

Small navigation improvements can noticeably reduce friction during repetitive work.

What Lovely Views adds

The sidebar navigation allows agents to move through tickets efficiently while staying inside the ticket they are working on.

Key capabilities include:

  • Jump to the first ticket in a view instantly

  • Jump to the last ticket in a view to review backlog edges

  • Move between tickets quickly

  • Stay inside the same workflow without repeated scrolling or pagination

Instead of navigating page by page, agents can reposition themselves in the queue immediately.

How teams use this in practice

Customers typically use these controls when:

  • Checking the oldest tickets during backlog reviews

  • Moving to the newest tickets during live triage

  • Switching between priority segments of a queue

  • Auditing long views without losing position

It’s especially helpful for teams working in large shared views where pagination slows navigation.

Why this matters

Zendesk views focus on listing tickets, but navigation across long views still relies heavily on paging and scrolling.

Lovely Views reduces that friction by giving agents direct movement within the queue, so they spend less time navigating and more time handling tickets.
