Tickler for Zendesk: How to track checklist activity

Did you know that Tickler - the checklist app for Zendesk - keeps a detailed log of every checklist update on a ticket?

This view history feature is perfect for workflows like onboarding, offboarding, and audits, where knowing who did what and when is essential.

What view history shows

The view history panel displays a complete timeline of checklist activity, including:

  • Task status changesDone, Pending, or Skipped

  • Tasks added or ❌ deleted

  • 🗂️ List creation and 🗑️ removal

  • 👤 The agent who made each change

  • 🕒 Timestamps for every action

This works for all checklist types - ad-hoc, saved, and automatic.

By default, the panel shows activity across all checklists on the ticket. If you’d like to zoom in on one, use the “Show records for” dropdown to filter by a specific list.

You can also click Print to save the full history for compliance or record-keeping.
