Building an automatic Tickler workflow no longer has to start with writing YAML or JSON from scratch.
With Tickler 3.4.15, you can now use our new automatic list rulebook with AI assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude to help create and update Tickler configurations.
Describe the process you want to run in Zendesk, provide the rulebook, and your AI assistant can turn those requirements into a Tickler configuration for you to review.
For example, you could describe a refund process, escalation checklist, customer onboarding workflow, or QA process and ask the assistant to build the corresponding automatic list.
Build around your own Zendesk setup
For more accurate results, you can also attach exports of your Zendesk ticket fields and ticket forms.
This gives the AI assistant the field IDs, form details, and dropdown values used in your account, so it can build the configuration around your Zendesk setup rather than leaving placeholders for you to complete manually.
These exports contain configuration only, not tickets or customer data.
You can use AI assistance to:
- Create a new automatic list from a plain-language description
- Turn an existing business process into a Tickler workflow
- Update or extend an automatic list you already use
- Add options such as guided mode, task comments, field updates, tags, and macros
The generated configuration should still be reviewed before adding it to Tickler, particularly any account-specific fields, values, or other Zendesk references.
More improvements in Tickler 3.4.15
We've also made several refinements to everyday checklist workflows.
Applying a saved list now expands the checklist automatically, so the tasks you've just added are immediately visible.
We've also refined reusable list saving, added the Tickler version number to the top bar list manager, and improved automatic-list comment handling.
