Sometimes, you might want to temporarily disable one of our apps—whether it’s for testing, troubleshooting, or simply because it’s not currently in use. You can easily do this via Zendesk’s Admin Center.
This guide shows you how to enable or disable any Lovestock & Leaf Zendesk app installed in your account, such as Lovely Views, Sticky Notes, Quickie, Tickler, or Escalator.
Step 1: Go to Admin Center
-
In Zendesk, click the four-square grid in the top-right corner, then select Admin Center.
-
Navigate to Apps and integrations > Apps > Zendesk Support apps.
Step 2: Find the app
You’ll see a list of all apps currently installed in your Zendesk instance. Locate the Lovestock & Leaf app you want to manage. (Tip: You can use the search bar to quickly find it by name.)
Step 3: Click the options menu
Hover over the app tile, then click the cog icon that appears on the right side to see the menu.
Step 4: Enable or disable the app
-
Move the toggle to the left to disable the app — it will immediately disappear from the Enabled apps section and appear in Disabled apps below.
-
Move the toggle to the right to enable a previously disabled app — it will move back from the Disabled apps section into the Enabled apps section.
Step 5: Refresh and test the app
After enabling or disabling the app, refresh your browser to make sure the change takes effect.
If you've just re-enabled the app, we recommend testing it in a ticket to confirm it’s working as expected.
Things to keep in mind
-
Disabling an app doesn’t uninstall it. All your settings, notes, and configurations will remain intact.
-
Re-enabling the app restores it with the same settings and visibility as before.
-
If you're testing different roles or group permissions, enabling and disabling may help with troubleshooting visibility issues.
How to pause billing
Disabling a Lovestock & Leaf Zendesk app reduces the number of agents using it to zero, which usually pauses billing for that app automatically. You can re-enable it later without losing any notes, settings, or configurations.
-
This only applies to individual apps.
-
To pause billing: Complete Steps 1–3 above, then select Disable.
If you're unsure how your Lovestock & Leaf billing works, get in touch and we’ll be happy to check for you.
