Announcement: Quickie PLUS replaces classic version of Quickie

1 Background

Thanks for being a loyal and valued customer of our Lovestock & Leaf apps for Zendesk, in particular Quickie.

As you are probably aware, Zendesk have confirmed that their legacy Apps Framework (ZAF v1) was sunsetted as of March 2018.

Zendesk has also announced that the v1 apps framework will be fully removed on October 14, 2019.

So, to continue the development and support of the Quickie app, we built a replacement version named Quickie PLUS, using Zendesk's new Apps Framework (ZAF v2).

No further updates can be made to ZAF v1 apps such as the old Quickie (from this point forward, we’ll refer to this app as Quickie Classic). For this reason, Quickie Classic has now moved to End of Life (EOL) effective immediately.

Our recommendation is to migrate to the new Quickie PLUS app available in the Zendesk marketplace. Quickie PLUS has been available since August 2018 and many Zendesk customers are already using it around the world. It has proven to be a stable and efficient app.  The app includes a 14 day FREE trial, so you can give it a road-test before you buy.

As one of our flagship apps, we have taken the opportunity to rebuild the app from the ground up in order to deliver a more reliable and higher performing app for our customers.  The rebuild will also allow us to add features more quickly, which will add more value to Quickie for customers moving forward. We've already included a bookmarking feature, with other new features for productivity and efficiency to come.

The price of the new Quickie PLUS app is 50 cents per agent per month. The app is now priced on a more realistic per agent basis and we’re confident that you’ll continue to get value from the app, despite the modest investment.  It also allows us to commit more resources for continued support of the app and its development.

3 14 Day Free Trial

The app includes a 14 day free trial so you can try before you buy.

The process for trialling via the Zendesk marketplace to go to the Quickie PLUS product page.

Once on the page, click on the FREE TRIAL button, you will be asked which Zendesk instance to install the app on and then will be taken to the payment page to enter your credit card details.

The trial is activated automatically upon purchase and you will only be charged after the 14 day period expires.  

If you don't want to proceed, then simply cancel within the 14 days by uninstalling the app.

Please Note: If entering credit card details to activate the trial is an absolute showstopper for your business, then we have alternative ways to get the app installed for you so you can give it a try.  Please submit a support request via our Zendesk Help Centre if you're interested in this option.

4 Flexible Payment Option

4.1 Monthly Payment Plan

Billing is monthly via the ZD Marketplace and is direct debited via your credit card.

Agent numbers are calculated automatically via the Zendesk marketplace based on the agent licenses you have in Zendesk that have permission to use the app.  

4.2 Annual Payment Plan

For customers that prefer it, we offer an annual recurring subscription (payable up front via invoice), which can then be paid by credit card or international bank transfer.  The latter payment method incurs a nominal fee to cover international bank transfer processing charges.  If the annual plan is preferable, please contact us via support.lovestockleaf.com and let us know how many agents will require access to the app.  We can then put together a quote for your approval.

4.3 Pay only for agents that will be using the App

Zendesk has the ability to restrict app permissions by Group and/or Role, so that you only have to pay for the agents that need to use the app.  

4.4 Discounted Price for Large Customers 

We also offer customers with large agent numbers a discount to move across to the updated app.  Please send in a request and let us know how many agents will require access to the app.  We can then put together a quote for your approval.
